The museum guide will share some of the must-see shoes from the collections, offering an excellent introduction to the museum (Duration : 30 minutes).

Wednesdays : July 9 and August 27 at 10 :30 AM – 12 PM
Start with a guided tour (30 minutes) to discover the intricacies of leather and material combinations, followed by an introduction to leather marquetry (1 hour) where you will create a small accessory, supervised by a leatherworker. For ages 8 and up.

Wednesdays, July 16, 30, and August 20, 10:30 AM - 12:00 PM
After an introduction to the evolution of the shoe through a selection from the collections, creativity takes center stage in a workshop for both children and adults, where participants will personalize a shoe silhouette.

Dive into the world of shoes with a flash presentation of the museum’s collections. Create your own moodboard, just like a trendsetter. For ages 8 and up.

June - September 
This exhibition celebrates the collaboration between sculptor Toros Rast-Klan and the art marquetry artist Pierre-Henri Beyssac, highlighting the power of sculpted metal and the finesse of marquetry, merging two exceptional crafts. Inspired by Syria, the birthplace of marquetry, this artistic encounter weaves a connection between tradition and creation.
